Get outside and join us for our annual Take-a-Hike week programming.

This year, we're offering hikes and self-guided crafts each day. All hike programs will meet at the Overbrook Nature Center. The WILD! around the World program will be held in Otter Pond Outdoor Classroom (or the Great Hall in the Stamford Museum in case of inclement weather). The Hike through the Sky and Gallery programs will be held in the Museum building. Some programs have limited enrollment and are first-come, first-served. Programs are open to families only; visiting organized groups are not permitted. Programs start promptly. No late additions are allowed, so please plan accordingly.

Pick up your 2017 Take-a-Hike Week passport to collect stamps when attending different programs or to discover our hidden stamp of the day! Visitors can then turn in stamped passports for a prize in the Overbrook Nature Center.

The Recycled ReCreations Makerspace will be open starting at 10 am on Tuesday, April 11 in the Children's Corner in the Stamford Museum. As part of our RecycleMania Day, the SM&NC will also be collecting gently used items for use in programs and to be donated to local organizations.

Please call 203.977.6599 for any hike and/or program cancellations due to inclement weather.
