Siblings who are in a baby carrier on a caregiver are welcome, but please make arrangements for any other siblings.         

Caregiver does not have to be the same for each class but there is a maximum of 1 adult per child for each class.

Wonder Art Fall II: (4 weeks)

For Ages 18 months – 2.5 years

Wednesdays, Oct 26 – Nov 16 (4 weeks): 9:30-10:15 am  OR 10:30-11:15 am Meets at Heckscher Barn

Fridays, Oct 21 – Nov 18 (4 weeks; no class 11/11): 9:30-10:15 am OR 10:45-11:30 am  Meets at Heckscher Barn

Our second fall session will focus on the end of the harvest and getting ready for winter. We'll see what's left in the garden, see how animals get ready for winter, and explore the remaining fall colors as the days get shorter. Limited to 6 adult/child pairs. Younger siblings who can be in a stroller or worn are welcome to attend; please make other arrangements for older siblings. Meets at Heckscher Barn.

Members: $68/child+adult for 4 week session
Non-Members: $76/child+adult for 4 week session

Wonder Art December Mini Session: Snow & Ice

Sundays, December 4 & 11 (2 weeks)-FULL
10 – 10:45 am
Join us for a special weekend mini session of Wonder Art that will explore the art and science of snow and ice. We'll paint with "ice paint" and create a collage that explores the colors and textures of winter precipitation. We'll share some of our favorite winter songs and stories and meet some live animals too! Limited to 6 adult/child pairs. Meets at Heckscher Barn.
Members: $34 for 2 week session
Non-Members: $38 for 2 week session

Groups will not share art materials and all materials will be switched or cleaned between sessions. Participants must follow SM&NC COVID protocols in place at time of program.

Youth & Family Program Policies

  • Refunds may be available for a registered program up to 10 days before the program date.  Within 10 days refunds are, unfortunately, not available. Please register carefully. Contact registration at 203.977.6521 for refunds. Programs cancelled by SM&NC will be refunded in full.
  • Ticket transfers are not permitted. Only registered parties may attend in their program time/date. Members may not register children not in their households.
  • Please note age requirements.  Registrations outside of the age minimums/maximums will be cancelled and may not be refunded.
  • Please note registration requirements.  Some programs are drop-off and some require adult attendance.  All parties 3 and up that attend a program require a ticket for individually-ticketed events.
