Join Visitor Services Manager and expert birder, Brian O’Toole, to discover how to attract and identify common feeder birds. We’ll see what birds are visiting our nature center feeders, learn about citizen science opportunities with bird sightings, and create a recycled soda bottle feeder to start (or continue) you on your feeding journey. You’ll learn which type of seed works best for different birds, and each participant will get to take home samples of different bird foods to try in their feeders, as well as a local backyard feeder bird ID sheet.
