The Stamford Museum & Nature Center is pleased to invite fellow animal care providers and environmental educators to join us for our second annual Exotic Animal Care Conference. Our conference will host presentations from animal care experts from South Wilton Veterinary Group, Ripley Waterfowl Conservancy, Riverside Reptiles, the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, Horizon Wings, and more! Throughout the conference, participants will explore various topics including preventative medical care for exotic animals, enrichment strategies, enclosure design considerations, and many more subjects that will help us to continue ensuring excellent care for all of our animal ambassadors. Join us for this exciting opportunity!
As it will be an all-day conference at the nature center, participants will be able to attend a wide variety of presentations on exotic animal care. For participants located out of the area, we will offer the opportunity to watch the presentations remotely. In addition to being able to explore the beautiful grounds of SM&NC, participants are invited to meet and learn from other animal care experts so that we can all continue to offer the animals in our organizations the excellent care that they deserve. This is a unique opportunity to gather with other animal care professionals and we hope to see you all there!
Registrations and inquiries should contact the conference organizer, Kendall Musgrave, Environmental Education Supervisor, at kmusgrave@stamfordmuseum.org. Registration for ages 14+.
Registration fee: $10/person
