Paleobiologist Dr. Aki Watanabe of the American Museum of Natural History and New York Institute of Technology will bring you inside “a day in the life” of a 21st century paleontologist. While Dr. Watanabe’s work focuses on how the “intelligent” brains of modern birds evolved from their dinosaur ancestors, his talk will highlight many types of fieldwork around the world, as well as exciting new data currently being analyzed in modern-day dinosaur science.
