Preview our upcoming exhibition Discovering Color: Two Decades of Abstraction and enjoy a private tour through the galleries with our Curator, Maeve Lawler. This exhibition highlights paintings, works on paper, and prints from three pivotal art movements in America during the sixties and seventies: abstract expressionism, color field painting, and minimalism. Drawing from the museum’s permanent collection, this group show will explore the ways each artist used color through texture, saturation, and tone. Light refreshments will be served.
Members: FREE with RSVP; Please register for program (you will not be charged)
