GREENWICH — The annual Friends of Cos Cob Library open house and kids’ book swap took place Saturday at the library.
The event included music, face-painting, jewelry-making, animals and other fun activities. There was also a selection of gently-used childrens’ books to swap. Patrons were encouraged to bring three books and take three.
The drawing for the Summer Reading Grand prize also was scheduled to take place, as was a visit from Dominick the Ice Cream Man.
The Friends of Cos Cob Library is a volunteer organization that assists the work of the Cos Cob branch of the Greenwich Library by providing information to the community, sponsoring programs, and coordinating the volunteer activities.
