Exotic Animal Care Conference

Animal care providers and environmental educators at local nature centers and wildlife rehabilitation centers are invited to meet with fellow animal care providers and veterinarians at SM&NC. We will learn how to prevent common medical issues and ensure that our animal care methods provide opportunities for enrichment and healthy living for these amazing creatures. Participants will learn about preventative medical care and return to their organizations with a greater understanding of the needs of the whole animal so that they can continue to thrive. FIY: Pumpkin Explore & Carving

Explore the different kinds of pumpkins and squash that grow in Connecticut. Carve a Connecticut-grown pumpkin, and take home some seeds of heritage squash variety for planting next year. All materials provided. Each registration includes 1 child admission, 1 adult admission, and 1 pumpkin for carving or decorating. Children ages 4 and up only please. Limited registration.
