Stamford Museum & Nature Center Opens Newest Exhibition, Pat Musick: Our Fragile Home
On Thursday, March 7, Stamford Museum & Nature Center opened its newest exhibition, Pat Musick: Our Fragile Home. Guests included artist Pat Musick, members of her family from around the nation, and the creative forces behind the award-winning documentary, “The Artist & The Astronaut” — writer/director, Bill Muench and composer, Todd Hobin. The film, which premiered in Connecticut at the SM&NC last year, showcases the life of Musick, (the titular “Artist”) and her late husband, astronaut Jerry Carr. Now on view through May 27, the exhibition features 48 pieces of the 98-year-old artist’s most dynamic and impactful work, spanning more than three decades.
