Westerly Sun: Chef Standridge honored as James Beard Award winner


David Standridge of the Shipwright’s Daughter in Mystic was honored by the Stamford Museum & Nature Center at its annual Benefit Dinner recently. Standridge is a James Beard Award winning chef who is committed to eco-stewardship and sustainability. Proceeds from the event will support the growth, reach, and scope of the organization’s educational programming in the natural sciences, enabling increased numbers of lifelong learners served both on-site and in classrooms throughout the community.
